Greetings and happy Sunday,
Sunday is my favorite day of the week.
I know for many, Sundays can feel like the last taste of freedom. One final exhale before a new week of work, responsibility, and expectation begins. But for me, Sundays aren’t dreadful. They’ve become a welcomed return. A slow, sacred invitation to pour back into myself after a week of giving, doing, and moving through the world.
They’re my day to be me, whatever version of me shows up.
Sometimes that looks like sleeping in, staying in my robe, and listening to soft music all morning. Other times it means sitting in silence or journaling through whatever the week stirred in me. There’s no rigid structure. Just presence. Just truth.
In my world:
Sundays are for solitude.
Solitude is what allows me to return to my own rhythm.
It’s where I remember what’s mine.
It’s where I receive what’s been trying to reach me.
It’s where I come home.
But here’s what I want you to know:
This hasn’t always been consistent.
There have been seasons when I let the practice go. And when Sundays became busy again, or I lost track of myself in the chaos. And instead of judging myself for that now, I try to meet it with compassion because this is the nature of devotion.
It’s not about doing it perfectly.
It’s about noticing when we’ve drifted, and choosing to return.
So if you’re someone who can be hard on yourself when you fall off track, let this be your reminder:
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just in a cycle. And you get to come back to yourself, again and again.
This week’s deep dive episode explores solitude as a devotional practice.
In it, I share how my personal Sunday rituals have evolved and how I’ve come to prioritize solitude not as a luxury but as a necessity. I also speak about what solitude has revealed to me lately, including a recent course correction that pulled me away from something misaligned and brought me closer to my truth.
If you’re craving space, silence, or just a moment to reconnect, this one’s for you.

Reflective questions from the episode:
Where in your life are you craving quiet?
What are your signs that you need solitude?
What could it look like to honor that need this week?
A gentle practice from this episode:
Schedule at least 30 minutes of solitude this week and make it non-negotiable.
Don’t plan what you’ll do, just let your intuition guide you in the moment.
Let it be sacred time with yourself.
When you try it, I’d love to hear what came up.
